Online shopping simulator

A shopping simulator.
Without the charge.

KindaBought is a free online shopping simulator for adults. Browse a real-looking catalog, add products to a bag, and complete an imaginary checkout—with no real purchase, payment, or shipment.

What is an online shopping simulator?

An online shopping simulator recreates the familiar steps of ecommerce without ending in a real order. KindaBought keeps the discovery, product pages, cart, storefront themes, and receipt. The financial outcome is deliberately different: the shopper does not enter a card, no merchant charge is created, and no warehouse receives an order.

It can be a low-stakes way to window-shop, collect possibilities, or simply enjoy the ritual before deciding whether anything deserves a place in a real budget.

How the simulated checkout works

  1. Step 1

    Browse the catalog

Explore products through five KindaBought storefront views. Changing the presentation does not change your bag.

  2. Step 2

    Build a dream cart

Add the items you would consider in a real store. Prices look familiar, but the cart is part of the simulation.

  3. Step 3

    Complete the simulation

Use the fictional Kinda Card. There is no payment form and no charge is sent to a bank.

  4. Step 4

Keep the receipt, not the bill

The result is a clearly labeled simulated order and a shareable receipt—not a purchase confirmation.

What is real—and what is not

  • The browsing experience, account, cart, and simulated order history are real app features.
  • Shopper checkout does not collect card details, create a charge, reserve inventory, or arrange delivery.
  • Published products are moderated and may be provided by brand creators.
  • Optional brand memberships are real paid services and are separated from the shopper simulation.
